This just made me want to fire up another one of the Canimao extra dark. Heading out to the deck after I find something to pair it with.

I am looking forward to hearing what others think about this cigar.

Tom I couldn't agree more with your opinion on this cigar. I really enjoyed both the Canimao Classic and the Canimao Classic Robusto Extra Dark that I smoked this evening at Old Havana. Mel is such a nice guy and the passion he has for his cigars definitely shows. In talking with him you can tell that he is truly doing what he was meant to do and his desire to remain to true boutique brand is nice to see these days. The Canimao Robusto Extra Dark was definitely my favorite, but for guys and gals that like a more mild-medium cigar the Canimao Classic Robusto was very nice as well. Both will become a staple in my humidor. I'm glad I decided to go out tonight as it is always nice to meet the brains behind the cigars we love so much.

Great review. Always a nice surprise when a stick stands on it's own and becomes memorable in it's own right.
