About Us

Allen CollierAllen Collier currently resides in Smyrna Tennessee and has been a devout cigar smoker for close to 15 years. Shortly after he smoked his first premium cigar (an AVO Classic) it was apparent that cigars would become more than just a hobby to him. A little over a year and a half ago he discovered the Nashville Cigar Club and finally found a group of fellow cigar lovers who shared his passion for cigars. Allen can be heard on iTunes on the NCC Cigar Podcast along with Tom Featherstone, Pat Landrum, and Joe Estep. He enjoys everything from mild to full-bodied cigars, but when asked to name a favorite he states, “that’s a question that cannot be answered”. Allen typically pairs his cigars with a great cup of coffee, a nice small batch root beer, or a Diet Coke.

A site devoted to cigar culture and reviews was something Allen had been looking to undertake for quite a while when Tom asked him to take the reigns at Cigarblog.net. He wants to make this a site where people can come and read about cigars that they have yet to smoke as well as compare notes on those they have. He is truly excited about what the future holds for Cigarblog.net and looks forward to making it something that people will enjoy reading.

Tom FeatherstoneTom Featherstone lives in Nashville Tennessee and has been smoking cigars for 12 years. He is the founder and president of the Nashville Cigar Club and you can hear him on iTunes on the NCC cigar podcast along with Allen Collier, Pat Landrum and Joe Estep.Cigar smoking is more than a luxury to Tom, but more of a passion for the craft and history of cigars. He prefers full body cigars, but does enjoy a mild cigar in the mornings with a cup of coffee. His favorite beverage pairing is scotch, but won’t turn down some good Kentucky bourbon or a glass of Ron Zacapa rum with a cigar.

CigarBlog.net was a side project for Tom to use as a journal for his cigar reviews, but work obligations and the NCC was taking up most of his time. After meeting Allen and realizing that he’s a walking cigar encyclopedia, as well as a true cigar aficionado, felt that he would be the perfect fit for the blog and asked him to take it over.
